EQUIPMENT CLEANLINESS VERIFICATION
IS NOW AFFORDABLE & EASY.
SIMPLY SWAB YOUR EQUIPMENT AND SEND YOUR SAMPLES BACK TO US, WE’LL DO THE REST.
We will email you a detailed report verifying the cleanliness of your equipment based on the swabs received by NMT.
Now you can document the cleanliness of your vehicles, air scrubbers, dehumidifiers, air sampling pumps, carrying cases and other equipment. Now you can demonstrate to your client’s and interested third parties that you equipment was clean prior to arrival to the remediation location.
Cleanliness verification is based on semi-quantitative indicators of the surface samples collected
by you. A rare presence or no presence of potential cross contaminates typically indicates the presence of CLEAN surface conditions. Equipment surfaces with mold or other microbiological particulate can contribute to cross contamination.
The frequency of screening your equipment for cleanliness verification can affect the credibility of your quality assurance program. Screening information is proportional to the amount of swab samples collected.
Areas of your equipment where surface sampling can be most effective are hard to reach surfaces such as the underside of your equipment, equipment wheels & handles, power cords, hoses, interior components of your equipment, porous materials, nooks and crannies.
Your specific report will include verification of surface cleanliness as it relates to the surface samples collected by you and received by NMT. This information can help you make the important decisions needed to maintain or improve your quality control procedures.
Additional mold testing kits are available, they can be helpful with insurance claims or medical treatment. Air & surface sample kits are designed to indicate what types & quantities of mold or allergens are present in your customer’s home or business. See our home page for more information.

EASY TO FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS:
You will receive your kit via USPS Priority Mail.
Neatly print the appropriate information including sampling date, time & detailed equipment description of each sample on the and chain of custody provided in your kit. Check all information for accuracy.
Fill in your sample ID on the labels provided in your kit.
Peel and stick each completed sample ID label onto the appropriate plastic swab tube.
Remove a swab carefully and evenly roll the tip against the appropriate surface. Do not apply too much pressure to the swab handle that contains the liquid protein
re-agent or it will snap open prematurely. Typically a swab sample covers a surface area of at least 2” x 2”.
Insert the swab securely into its properly
labeled plastic tube. Holding the tube upright apply enough pressure to snap the bulb at the top of the swab handle and squeeze the bulb. This will enable the liquid protein re-agent to mix with the swab sample in the tube. Gently shake the tube for 5-10 seconds. Keep the tube upright and wait 10 minutes for your results. Most chemical reactions occur within 60 seconds. If the liquid in the tube remains green, it is an indication that the surface area swabbed is clean. Grey or purple coloration typically indicates that the surface is not clean. Due to the nature of the chemical reaction that occurs results are not valid beyond 10 minutes.
Email or fax us your results using the report form included with your kit. We will enter your findings and email you a completed report form in an effort to verify the cleanliness of your equipment.
Caution: Do not re-use swabs. Swabs are for one time use only. Do not touch the swab or liquid re-agent with any part of your body. Do not drink or inhale the liquid re-agent. Dispose of all swabs in a safe and secure manner. For adult use only. Keep swabs and tubes out of reach of children.
Reports are typically written 2 to 3 days after receipt of emailed results. Reports will be sent via email only in an effort to expedite your order quickly and help save the environment.
